Our first event, “The Intersection of Business and Politics” was held at the Dante Club in October featuring 12 local chambers promoting upcoming events and the benefits of chamber membership featuring Emcee David Lichtman Publisher of the Sacramento Business Journal. The second segment of the event featured Dan Walters who moderated a conversation about business and the economy with Congressman Ami Bera and his opponent Andrew Grant. The conversation was informative, respectful, and was enjoyed by over 250 participants.

Our next event is scheduled for June at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento featuring on topic speakers and will include a panel discussions about the assault on Prop-13 and affordable housing with Jon Coupal from Howard Jarvis and NFIB’s John Kabateck (Learn more about this event)

Future conferences are in the planning stage at the Reagan Library featuring Single-Payer Health Care, in San Diego featuring Public and Private Pensions, and a Sacramento Multi-Chamber event featuring the ramifications to self-employment status resulting from the California Supreme Court Decision known as Dynamex.
